UPCOMING HUMANITARIAN SERVICE ACTIVITY

Due to the ever increasing number of expecting mommies in the ward, we are going to prepare freezer meals to help out the compassionate service leaders in our ward.  Of course these freezer meals can also be used for other families that you are aware of that need help and/or any of your neighbors as well (these meals could provide great missionary opportunities).

More details regarding this activity will be sent out soon, regarding prices and and any extra help in supplies we might need, but mark your calendars now for October 27, 2011 at the church from 7pm-8:30.  We are looking really forward to this activity and know that we all have the potential to help so many friends and neighbors!

CENTERTON LIBRARY INFORMATION

I just thought there might be some of you who would be interested in this bit of information.  The Centerton Mayor is  very interested in providing a public library but does not have the funds or means to do so right now.  He is working on getting some help from the Gravette Library.  Right now the idea is to have the Gravette Library provide a weekly book mobile at City Hall with plans for future expansion.  What I heard last was that the Mayor is conducting some sort of survey to make sure the desire for a public library is there.  If you are interested, make sure to take the opportunity to let your Mayor know.
