General Conference

Below is a website where you can locate places to watch General Conference if you are unable to do go to the church.  The Sunday morning session begins at 11:00 AM and the Afternoon session begins at 3:00 PM.

Relief Society S'More Night

Humanitarian Service

Childhood hunger is a current problem in our area.  The Samaritan Community Center serves over 5,000 kids in Northwest Arkansas who are at risk for malnutrition with their snack pack food program that serves at-risk children.  During the entire month of October, the Humanitarian Committee will have a snack pack food drive to contribute to this effort.  Donation boxes will be at church next week and throughout the month.  Every little bit helps.  In addition, we will be placing boxes at local businesses to help the cause as well.  Here is a current list of items to be donated (everything must be non-perishable):

• Fruit Bars
• Fruit Cups
• Fruit Snacks
• Small Cereal Boxes
• Cheese Crackers
• Pudding Cups
• Oatmeal packets
• Microwave Pasta
• Ramen Noodles
• Animal Crackers
• Beef Jerky
• Individual Pretzel Packets
• Other Individually Packaged Snacks

PRIMARY PROGRAM REMINDER

REMINDER for this SATURDAY and SUNDAY:

All Primary teachers and Primary children, the Primary Presidency would like to remind you that the Primary Program Rehearsal will be held this Saturday at 9 - 10:30am in the chapel. Light snacks and beverages will be served afterwards.
Also, if the parents of the Primary children could arrive at church about 10 minutes early on Sunday to get their kids seated in their assigned seats, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
We are so excited to show you what your children have been working on so hard this year. They are amazing!

RS ACTIVITY TONIGHT!!

Just a reminder that our Literacy Night activity will be tonight (September 20th) at Jill Mannings house starting at 7:00 PM.  Come and learn about church literacy and ways to choose good books for you and your family.

LITERACY NIGHT

· Our MONTHLY RS ACTIVITY will be held at 7pm this Thursday. Join us for a “Literacy Night” at Jill’s Manning’s home. You are encouraged to bring your favorite book (children, YA, etc) to share! Discussion topics will cover:
o the Church’s adult literacy program
o how to help ourselves and our families choose appropriate and safe literature
o (possible topic) ways to help teach your young children pre-reading skills before kindergarten.

SISTER'S TEMPLE TRIP

The Centerton Ward SISTERS’ TEMPLE TRIP will take place on Tuesday, Oct 2nd. All sisters are invited to attend the 11:40am session in the OK City Temple. More details about car-pooling and lunch to come!
