The Northwest Arkansas Polar Plunge started in 1999 with 17 Polar Bears and has grown to over 300 plungers. We hope this number will grow this year and with your help it will. Proceeds from the Polar Bear Plunge allow our Special Olympics athletes to train and compete in a variety of sporting events completely free of charge
We invite you to join us this year as we Dare to Bear and raise money for our Special Olympics athletes.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
· Be a Polar Bear Plunger! All plungers must raise at least $50 in donations to plunge. Prizes are awarded for most funds raised.
· Come out and support the Polar Bear Plungers...we guarantee that it will be an experience you will not forget!
· Costumes are encouraged and will be rewarded so use your imagination and come in your most creative outfit.
· Shoes are recommended, no wet suits allowed.
