WATER FOR STAKE GARDEN PLOTS

AS A REMINDER, the Rogers Stake will continue the "Corn Farm Project" this summer. The corn will be planted in the gardens located at the Centerton Ward site. This year we plan to plant a little more than five acres of sweet corn for member use.

Individual garden plots will also be available. If you would like to reserve a plot for your family, please contact Brother Tim Isabell (644-8281).

The stake will continue to provide water, and faucets are located at central sites; however, families will need to furnish personal water hoses to get the water to their plots. WATER WILL BE TURNED ON AND AVAILABLE MONDAY, APRIL 11TH. An electric fence has been installed to keep deer and raccoons away from the plants. Gates are provided to allow access into the individual plots.

GARDENING CLASS FOR BEGINNERS
Brother Berlan Crouch will be teaching a Gardening Class to anyone interested
on Tuesday April 12th at 7:00 pm at the Centerton Building.
Brother Crouch is a wealth of gardening knowledge and knows just how to make things understandable to “lay” folk.
He will be teaching a class about how to start a garden and some of the
things he has learned over the years.
This class will be great for those of us who aren't quite sure where to
start or how to keep our gardens producing.
It will be a great night for all.

Good Afternoon, the trash bill you received is in error, there were 3 fees placed on the bill that should not have been on the bill, the correct amount for the bill is $41.66 and Waste Management has told me to have everyone pay that amount and they have adjusted the computers to reflect this amount. This amount is for customers in the City Limits of Centerton. Here is a breakdown of what you are paying

Trash---$10.50 per month = $31.50 for the quarter

Recycle----$2.24 per month= $6.72 for the quarter

Taxes------$1.15 per month= $3.44 for the quarter

We will also have a letter coming out next week to confirm this, I apologize for the error

BOOK GROUP THURSDAY

We will be meeting this Thursday April 7, at Kristen Cornelsen's home at 8:30. Her address is 861 Walker St in Centerton. There are 3 different Walker Streets, so here are the directions for you. Take Seba as if you are heading to the church and take your first left on Walnut Ridge and then take a right on Walker St. Her house is on the corner. Call Kristen or myself if you need directions. We will be discussing The Color Code by Taylor Hartman. This book is about the 4 basic personalities. You do not have to read it to join in on this discussion. We will have copies of the personality test for everyone that night, and then we will talk about what each color means. It should be a lot of fun and it will be a great way to get to know each other better. Bring a treat if you can, but don't worry if you can't. I hope to see a lot of you there. Happy Reading! APRIL TEMPLE TRIP

"Some degree of sacrifice has ever been associated with temple attendance. Our next opportunity to serve in the temple as a Ward will be Saturday, April 16, in conjunction with the Youth Temple trip.

The Youth will be participating in baptisms from 8:00 - 10:00 that morning. We will need 8 endowed Brethren and 3 endowed Sisters to support the Youth that day. The Stake has assigned us the 9:00 and 10:20 Endowment sessions. Any adults who are not needed to help with baptism as welcome to attend either Endowment session.

Those adults who help with baptisms are welcome to attend the 10:20 Endowment session afterward. Our Youth leaders will be coordinating times and rides, and there will more information forthcoming.
