SPECIAL WARD FAST ON TUESDAY, MARCH 1ST
Several members of our Ward family find themselves faced with significant health challenges. One of these is Maria Karjala's son Brendan who has been treated for some time now for tumors in his foot. This Wednesday, Brendan has a doctor's appointment at which it will be determined whether or not the current therapy regimen is working sufficiently to avoid amputation.
As a bishopric we have decided to fast and pray for Brendan and the others in our Ward who are faced with these trying health concerns and have set aside tomorrow Tuesday, March 1st for this purpose. We invite you to join us. For those able to fast, we ask you to do so and we ask all to join your voices with ours in prayer for relief for those in our Ward family who stand in need at this time.
"By love serve one another." (GAL 5:13)

To combat the world's evil influences, we need the strength that comes from family home evening." (Ensign, Jun 2003, 2–6)
