This will be a great deal for someone. Book is about $1300-1400 in the condition it is in...put about $1600 into it not counting the extra parts I have for it.


Started a new company and have no time left.

Asking: $1400.00

1984 Ford F250 (3/4 ton) 6.9 Ltr Diesel Supercab long bed with a 1988-1996 F350 (1 ton) dually read end running single tires

Some features:

• Dual tanks
• Motor starts and runs great
• New windshield glass
• New windshield wipers
• New windshield fluid motor
• 4 new tires (less than 500 miles on them)
• Brakes: Rear – new drums, new shoes, new spring kit, new brake cylinders
• Brakes: Front – new rotors, new pads.
• New master cylinder
• Batteries/Starting system
• Two new batteries
• New battery connectors (replaced the ones that needed replacing)
• New starter (approx 1.5 year old now – first thing installed)
• Block heater will need a new plug…(but worked until the old plug wires broke)

Interior

• New dash skin – installed on old dash very nicely (just needs screwed back into dash in)
• New carpet from ACC– not installed
• New door skins – not installed (the old ones were eaten up by the sun)
• New door arm elbow pads – not installed
• 2009 Ford truck center console – not installed
• New turn signal switch - not installed
• New blower motor and squirrel cage – not installed

I disassembled the whole dash and ventilation system to clean it out and get the mud daubers hornet’s old nests out (yes…some as big as my fist)

Will need a R12 charging (low pressure keeps the compressor from kicking in)

Exterior

• New U-joint installed just in front of the differential
• New caster bearings installed
• New OEM weatherstrip wipers for windows on both sides of truck (rubber scraper portion on outside of windows) – not installed
• New OEM door weather stripping (goes round whole door opening) – not installed
• New OEM door lock cylinders with keys – not installed
• New side mirrors – installed

The only thing that bugs me right now is the fuel gages working with the transfer switch. The transfer switch works and transfers the tanks well. The front tank gage reads fuel but by the time it gets about 4-5 gallons down it says empty. When switched to the rear tank…never gets off of empty. Just have not played with that one yet.

I have done all the stuff you would need to do if you had bought this truck…I will never get out of it what I put into it. Hey…you benefit!! Safety first.


Why am I selling my project truck…buying a home and do not have time for it. Wife has other projects for me. I was buying parts over last fall and winter waiting for spring to get here to work on it….now someone can buy this truck (and all the parts that come with it) and in a few weekends will have a nice rig.
