Subject: H1N1 Vaccine Now Widely Available

With H1N1 vaccine availability increasing, the CDC is now urging all priority groups to receive the vaccine. This includes the addition of anyone 5 through 24 years of age.

The priority groups are:

• Pregnant women
• People 6 months through 24 years of age
• People 25 through 64 years of age with high-risk health conditions
• Health care workers who provide direct patient care
• Close contacts of infants 6 months or older

The vaccine is free at public health departments and costs about $10 at local pharmacies and health care providers. My local health department asked that I spread the word widely that there are plenty of vaccines and the wait time is minimum if at all.
